Roscón De Reyes. Kings' Ring

During this day, the Spanish eat million of this Christmas sweet Christmas,: kings' ring or roulade of the king.
Today is Three Kings Day, which commemorates the arrival of the Three Magi. During the night have left gifts at the homes of children (and not so young) who have been good. This tradition is much older than
that Santa Claus brings gifts.
As for the
kings' ring. This is a sweet that is eaten only on 6 January. Inside you can find gifts (figurines, above). But you can not miss is a figure of a Wise Man, and a bean (dry). Whoever finds the figure of the Wise Man, puts a crown. Whoever finds the bean, it's up to pay the roulade. People who are superstitious think that whoever finds the bean will be a year of bad luck. There are other stories where the opposite is true (about the figure and the bean).
To enjoy the Roscón.

All about this Xmas sweet: Here (English and more history here) (Español).
