Pedestrian bridge (by Calatrava) that connects neighborhoods of Infante Juan Manuel and Vistabella over Segura river.
This bridge has been controversial. One of the biggest complaints is that the floor was glass and when it rained, it was very slippery, and several elderly people had accidents. That was solved by placing a "carpet", which takes a lot of beauty to the bridge. Another perspective from 2012.
During summer, the town is deserted. Although a few years ago, it was not very common to find people on the street during the month of August (people go to the beach, about 30-40 minutes away), especially, in the last 15 years I have observed that is not happened. I guess the economic changes, changes in lifestyle (both spouses have to work), have influenced.
Pair of Iberian Brown Bears. This is the largest carnivore on the Iberian Peninsula (Spain), where it is in danger of extinction (about 120 specimens are distributed by the Cantabrian Mountains and the Pyrenees).
The photo was taken on Terra Natura Murcia, where several specimens were born.
Much more information on wikipedia.
This is what can happen when you are part of the audience that is watching "The Birds of Prey show" at Terra Natura Murcia.
The title of this post could be The Beastmaster, Hawkman (there are two entries at wikipedia: 1 and 2) or Falconman, although I think that is an eagle.

You can go early in the morning at the Mediterranean Region of Murcia coast or going to a cove of difficult access. Also, you will find some beautiful beaches at Mar Menor coast, but if you want to keep calm, early in the morning.
For a year it will be performing the dredging section of the river basin, passing through the city of Murcia. It aims to lower the channel one meter, and remove accumulated sediments. This is intended to prevent flooding, and adapt this section to water activities.
Currently, sediment generated islets that have been colonized by wild fauna and flora. Environmentalists disagree with this work by the effect it will have on the ecosystem.
We'll see what will happen.
