Yoda And Star Wars Films
One last photo exhibition on the world of Star Wars. Yoda, the Jedi Master. You do not think I'm a Star Wars geek, but I found a pretty good exposure.
Here you can follow a link to a blog which compares Yoda with Kuato (from the film: Total Recall) and a Spanish politician.

Darth Vader
One figure that is in the exposure of El Tiro, is this real size. Some of the curiosities of this exhibition is that there are helmets replica of helmets from the movie The Empire Strikes Back.
Here you can see a sculpture that is a bit peculiar in Murcia, and that looks like Darth Vader.

galp
Since relatively few years ago, Galp (a Portuguese oil company) has expanded throughout the Iberian Peninsula, with 205 petrol stations in 36 provinces. In Murcia there are currently 5 stations.
Galp, as such, has existed since 1999 and comes from the merger of several energy companies whose origins date back to the 70s.
I draw much attention its logo.

Here Comes The Sun
After many days without seeing the sun, he has finally allowed to see.
I leave here the first stanzas of the song Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles (perhaps one of the best bands in the history of music).
"Here comes the sun, here comes the sun, and I say it's all right
Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here Here comes the sun, here comes the sun and I say it's all right
Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here Here comes the sun, here comes the sun and I say it's all right
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes... "

Star Wars
I had to go to the mall of El Tiro to find a product that then I could not find. And what was my surprise when I arrived and I saw there was an exhibit about Star Wars. From Vehicles and characters in real size to miniatures

Carnivals 2010 Of Cabezo De Torres, Murcia.
Today's carnivals 2010 are over in the Región of Murcia. The photos are from the carnival of Cabezo de Torres (a district of the municipality of Murcia). Specifically the carnival group: Sementales Atascados (studs stuck). These carnivals are usually very critical of how badly goes the world. They are also often very funny, and the carnival groups often have very funny names, like: Los Más Turbados (separately means the most troubled, but the word together signifies the masturbated), La Polla (cock, but with the second meaning of the d..k), and other names.

Follow The Cat
Perhaps the cat is the most selfish animal that exists. When a cat comes to you not to give you affection, he wantas that you give it to him. The cat is not home much background, it prefers the street, and when they need to eat, then they come home.

Gray Days In Murcia
Since last Friday, we have not seen the sun (perhaps a little, last Sunday). And I speak from a Region that usually rain a year, on average 375mm. A Region dominated by the Mediterranean climate, although with a semiarid climate. In the records of the former National Institute of Meteorology, such disparities are reflected as a year (1945) only 88mm rain, and in 1884, 765mm.
Blessed rain.
Blessed rain.

Carnival 2010
The carnivals 2010 are already exhausted, and I still have not talked about them. Neither do I have time to go to a carnival parade held at the Region of Murcia. Neither weather ( we have days of cold and rain) has encouraged me to go.
But I did not want to miss this pagan festival, and I would recommend that you approach the next years to visit the Carnival de Aguilas (declared of National Tourist Interest), or that you visit the carnivals celebrated in the parish of Cabezo de Torres.
I still have a chance to see a parade on Saturday.

Erosion.
It's incredible how the Earth is going to shape over the years, by the effect of erosion. In this case, I think it's the wind that worked more to shape the slope of this clay hill. Although I suppose the sea water will also have been helpful.

Walking Dog
Who is walking whom? That's the question I ask myself when I see a dog pulling its master. Especially, when a big dog like the photo, it is pulling the rope with all its might.

Water
Perhaps, this is not the best perspective to view this source. Perhaps, this is not the most attractive source of Murcia (surely not). But what I love about this picture is the movement of water.
This fountain is located in the gardens of El Malecon.

Castillo De Monteagudo. Castle Of Monteagudo.
This Castle was built by the Arabs between the eleventh and twelfth centuries. It was, above all, strong defense, because for many years, Murcia, was border city during the Reconquista. During the late Middle Ages, the fortress passed into the hands of Christians. In this castle were, for example, Alfonso X "El Sabio" and James II.About the castle, and culminating in the summit, is the Heart of Jesus Christ. This sculpture is from 1951 and measures 14 meters and replaces an earlier (10 meters high) that was demolished in 1936 by Republicans. This mountain has Argaric vestiges of the era (2000 BC) and Roman presence. Today is building an interpretive center Argaric culture where you can see the remains found.
Currently, the climb to the castle is dangerous (but can go up), but after construction of the center, they can climb to the top safely.
It is worth climbing to enjoy the views of the valley of Murcia. Here you can see another perspective

Dog On The Beach
Dog's Life. This could have been another title to this photo. There are dogs that are treated as humans, as happens to this dog. This is the pet of one of my sisters, whom it treated like a king.

Watch Us.
This picture could be any city. I have made this photo in the residential developments that are in the northern area of the city of Murcia.
I remember when I was a kid (I just turned 35 years old), you could walk the streets without any problems, just had to be careful with cars. You could go home that evening without worry your parents. That yes, you had to avoid going through some troubled neighborhoods of Murcia. However, nowadays, anything can happen anywhere. Thus, in several areas of the city, including some residential neighborhoods, have placed cameras "for our safety."
