MurciaDailyPhoto At II Festival Of Photography.
MurciaDailyPhoto was invited to participate in open exposure of the Second Festival of Photography, organized by the MUBAM and Cien Ojos.
It was a great opportunity to make known to MurciaDailyPhoto, and also, to watch the work of other photographers, great professional and amateur photographers.
I could see very good pictures.
It was a coincidence in time, but it has agreed that next week, on June 4th, MurciaDailyPhoto turn 5 years. It was a way to look back at five years of photos. I could only choose 15 photos out of over 1300. A difficult choice, where I had to leave out many photos that I love.
In the picture, you can see the proyeccción of one of my photos. The original, for more detail, you can see here.

Story Of An Olive Tree
Let me tell you a little story about an olive tree.
At home we have a small garden (image: garden with olive trees near the garden of El Malecon), which usually come birds of different species.
About a year ago, we watched as it began to sprout, on a bank of our garden, a small branch with a tiny leaves. We let it grow, and we saw it was an olive tree. Yes, perhaps, one of those birds brought an olive seed in its beak, with lucky to germinate and grow.
I do not get to see it grow into a great tree as the image, but surely, my children will get to see.

Playground And Tram.
There are few Murcia tram lines, but it is a useful public transportation. Currently connects the city of Murcia with universities, and major shopping centers on the outskirts of the city, as well as the Nueva Condomina football stadium.
In the picture, tram on its way through Plaza Circular (the biggest town roundabout), where is located that playground.

SOS 4.8 2013
Another year, and already six years, is held the first weekend in May, the SOS 4.8.
48 hours of music, conferences, and Avant Garde.
A festival that is considered sustainable (SOStenible) when using resources.
A festival that in previous years music groups have played as Pulp, Franz Ferdinand, Chemical Brothers or Suede.
This year, the crisis has noticed, but still they have brought bands like M83, and The XX.

Fried Milk Squares
This is one of my favourites desserts.
The image, fried milk (leche frita), made of homemade form in my own home.
How to make it.
"With a firm, sweet, cold milk-pudding center encased in a warm and crunchy fried shell of flour and egg, it's sure to transport you back to Spain. This traditional Spanish dessert is easy, but does require refrigerating for at least 3 hours (and preferably overnight) before frying.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Refrigeration: 3 hours
Total Time: 3 hours, 30 minutes
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients:
3 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
7 tablespoons all-purpose flour (3 1/2 tablespoons to coat the Leche Frita before frying)
1/2 cup sugar
1 quart whole milk
1 cinnamon stick
2 eggs
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
powdered cinnamon
Preparation:
Put the cornstarch, 3 1/2 tablespoons of the flour, and the sugar together in a large bowl. Add 1 cup of the milk and mix well with a whisk. Leave to stand for 10 minutes.
Heat the rest of the milk in a large pan with the cinnamon stick over medium-low heat. When the milk begins to bubble, strain it little by little into the sugar and flour mixture, stirring well. Pour the sugar, flour, and milk mixture back into the saucepan and put it over low heat, again stirring well, for 10 minutes.
Lightly oil an 11 x 7-inch ovenproof glass baking dish with olive oil Pour in the leche frita mixture to a depth of 3/4 inch (use two molds if you have sufficient mixture). Leave to cool in the fridge (overnight if you have time).
Run a knife around the edge of the leche frita to ensure it's not sticking and very quickly turn it out. Cut it into 2 1/2-inch squares. Beat the eggs. Heat olive oil in a frying pan to a depth approaching 1/4 inch over medium heat. Add the butter. Dredge each of the squares in the remaining flour, dip in the beaten egg, and fry in the hot oil for approximately 1 minute on each side, until very lightly golden. Sieve over powdered cinnamon and serve hot.
Preparation Note: Although the author suggests using a 11 x 7-inch glass baking dish, we recommend using a smaller size dish to obtain a depth of 3/4 inch. It is important that the leche frita be at least 3/4-inch thick, or it will be unmanageable when frying/turning."

I See You
It is not the game of hide and seek. Neither that person is running away after making a wrongdoing. It's just a fisherman who had just finished fishing and was about to go home, with very little loot, by the way.

May'13 Theme Day - The Creative Artisan
May 1st. Today is the international day of work, and the theme in CityDailyPhoto Bloggers community, is the creative artisan. Definitely a great day to remember old trades, or to claim that those jobs are not lost in oblivion. We must thank the artisans who still continue maintaining these jobs, despite being in the XXI century.
The image, parade Bando de la Huerta. Spinners, bobbin lace.
Bobbin lace is a lace textile technique consisting of interwoven threads that are wound into coils initially called bobbin, for better management. As work progresses, the tissue is held by pins stuck in a cushion, called "scene". The place of the pins usually determined by a pattern of holes in the pad.
The lace can be performed with coarse or fine threads. Traditionally, made from linen, silk, wool and cotton subsequently. Also with precious metal wire. Today also performed with a variety of synthetic fibers, wires or other filaments.
