Licor 43
"Licor 43 is a Spanish liqueur (Cartagena, Region of Murcia), golden color, made, according to legend, from 43 different citrus fruits and spices of the Mediterranean. It tastes sweet, and very versatile, varying greatly depending on the mixture with which it is made. Contains 31% ethyl alcohol by volume.
Licor 43 is the best selling Spanish liqueur in the world." (Source: Licor 43)
Since last year (2014), the factory and museum can be visited. In fact, it is having great success and has been visited in its first eight months open to the public for more than 8000 people, mostly from outside Spain. 70% of them are British and the rest are Germans, Dutch, French and Spanish. This year will be multiply that number, because only from March to May will pass 15,000 Austrian. And hundreds of cruisers will be added that the company expects to receive from mid-2015.

Frenería Street
This is one of those streets that often go unnoticed, but it has very beautiful buildings. Very close to the Cathedral of Murcia (the tower is in the background).
The origin of Frenería name: The Frenería was a specialist in the manufacture of products of military trousseau trade. The name derives from the brakes: metal tools that are tied to the reins and placed in the nose of the horses.
I suppose, like other streets of Murcia whose name had its origin in the office in which there was, this street too.

Playing At Square
At Gloriette/Square of Spain.
"The Glorieta of Murcia (Murcia, Spain), officially known as Glorieta of Spain or Square of Spain, is one of the highlights of this Spanish city urban spaces. Situated in the old part of the city, is a pedestrian plaza, tourist centre of Murcia because it has its major office buildings of civil and ecclesiastical power, as the Town Hall and the Episcopal Palace.
It was in the eighteenth century when performed early works that shaped this square. This is an open landscaped with flowers, palm trees and fountains space. Joining them have been placing, over time, various statues and artistic monuments that make this square in a reference point." (Source: Wikipedia)
The statue on the picture: Cardinal Belluga.

Theme Day Jan'15: Best Photo Of year 2014.
Today is the most classical Theme Day of the CityDailyPhoto community: Best Photo of the Year.
After revisiting the last year of my blog, I find some photos that (for me) could be the best of the year. First I had to thought if i had to select a finding photo or a frame that find to me. At the end, I have chosen that photo because it is dificult to obtain the same frame in a future.
My other selections are:
- 1 A loving picture of old lovers on a beach
- 2 The most pictured tower of Murcia
- 3 A beauty hidden natural place at Region of Murcia
- 4 The Birds: a different framed way to capture a church
- 5 Playing with b&w to obtain an old picture
- 6 A picture to show the effort to obtain whatever you want
- 7 Maybe the photo that I love more on 2014
Click here to view thumbnails of all participants (first time without ParisDailyPhoto, the pioneer)
And, of course: HAPPY 2015! I wish you all the best for 2015.
