Old Bridge in a Summer Night

This summer, at least in Region of Murcia and some provinces of the Spanish Mediterranean coast, there are good weather nights (cross-fingers to keep this weather). Around 17 to 20 Celsius degrees at night, because last year we reached 30 Celsius degrees at night. So, it is really nice to walk around cities like Murcia by night.

Manterola Bridge at Night

Since not long ago, this pedestrian bridge has been illuminated with bright colours. It makes a sequence of colours.
Here is a picture of one night in August 2009. Here again, daylight, in May 2009.
This bridge is in the city of Murcia, on the River Segura.

Santiago De La Ribera and Mar Menor

Santiago is a district of San Javier. It has 4km of beach on Mar Menor.
At these 4km beach, there are several sailing schools, as Socaire.
The Mar Menor is ideal for sailing sports throughout the year.

In 2013, there were 24 Blue Flags on the coast of the Region of Murcia. In 2016, 40 Blue Flags.
The Blue Flag is an award given annually since 1987 by Foundation for Environmental Education to beaches and marinas that meet a range of environmental conditions and facilities.
The criteria for the Blue Flag are grouped into four areas: quality of bathing water, environmental education and information, environmental management and security, services and facilities.

Water Sports In Murcia

Region of Murcia has 170km of coastline, of which 73 km are the perimeter of Mar Menor (the biggest salt lagoon in Europe).
Due to climate in Region of Murcia, it is ideal for water sports.

Big Ball

This granite stone is suspended on water and it is possible to turn it with your hands. Children enjoy it a lot.

Hip-Hop Breakdancing

All that surrounded the Graffiti Jam Murcia, included Hip-Hop. There were several dancers who showed us their breakdancing skills to the rhythm of Funky music, Hip-Hop music, ..., by a live DJ,
After that, it was the turn for rappers, rapping in live.

Graffiti Jam Murcia

Yesterday was held the I Graffiti Jam in Murcia. Graffiti artists, hip hop dancers, skaters show, DJ's, Rap, .... Urban style for everybody. I like this first time. See waht happens next year.

Anastacia In Murcia

Yesterday, two Great Artists arrived to Murcia to realize two great concerts: Sir Tom Jones (at Bullring of Murcia), and Anastacia (at square of former Artillery Barracks).
Impossible to be in both places at same time. a pitty :(.
Anastacia is making Ultimate Collection Tour around Europe. In Spain, 3 concerts, and the second one, in Murcia. A great privilege to us.
It was an spectacular concert listening to all her greatest hits. If you like Anastacia, I recommend this concert.
