Main Entrance Of El Malecon Walkway

I have already written on El Malecón de Murcia.
This is the main entrance to the promenade. Here I leave with you a little more history of one of the favorite places to go out of Murcia to walk or run.
18th century. The previous walkway datedfrom 1420 and was constructed to protect the city from the occasional floods from the river. In 1733 work began on what would become the Malecón witch today is a boardwalk of 1585 metres above Murcia.
