Cervantes And Cartagena


On Monday April 23rd, Spain was held the day of the book. A date in 1616 that Cervantes and Shakespeare died.
In the picture, mural-monument in the third centenary of the Quixote.
The plaque above reads: To Miguel de Cervantes: The schoolchildren of Cartagena in the third centenary of the Quixote (3 May 1905)
Below, left, a plaque of "millenarian Cartagena", showing different events of Cartagena, since its founding in 227 BC by Asdrubal the Carthaginian.
In the center, a plaque with the image of Cervantes, with a text of Cervantes about Cartagena : "With this, I gradually came to the port. For the Carthage gave its name ..."
