Mora Tortoise. Tortuga Mora.

The Mora tortoise, Testudo graeca, is one of the eight turtle species traditionally classified in the genus Testudo.
In the Iberian Peninsula, it only can be found on the South east; Murcia  (Almenara Mountain) and Almería.
The tortoise is in danger in the Iberian Peninsula. Their number is not very high. Among the causes of its decline we can highlight human pressure on their habitat by agriculture and forest fires, very common in arid places.
