Guardia Civil

The Guardia Civil (Civil Guard) is a Spanish armed military institution under the Ministry of Interior and Defense, compliant, among other, it developes security features.
Founded in 1844, among its competencies are the protection of public safety in towns of less than 20,000 inhabitants, the rest of the national territory and territorial sea, investigation and combating organized crime, terrorism, illegal immigration, crimes against nature, among others.
