At Almudi Palace and Hall of Veronicas, you have a great opportunity to know more about Count of Floridablanca (great Murcia politician) who was Ambassador and Minister of King Charles III (Carlos III). An enriching exhibition for the knowledge where to know the influence of this politician on the court of Carlos III.

"José Moñino y Redondo (Murcia, 1728 - Seville, 1808), first Count of Floridablanca, lived in a convulsive period that was debated between the staunch conservatives of the institutions and the revolutionaries. For half a century, Moñino, a faithful interpreter of Carlos III's ideas, took an active part in politics and was Secretary of State between 1777 and 1792. After his dismissal and a period in prison, he presided over the Central Supreme Junta in 1808.
From Goya to Tiepolo and Mengs: Works from the Prado Museum, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, the National Archaeological Museum or the National Library, as well as others belonging to some of the most important private collections in Spain, will be exhibited in almost 1,800 square meters of this exhibition "will occupy two of the cultural spaces of reference in our Region: the Almudí Palace, created in the 15th century, and the Sala Verónicas, an old baroque church converted into a unique exhibition space"" (Source: Murciaturistica.es)
