Basket Park
This is an area where you can play basketball outdoors. It is next to the Prince of Asturias Pavilion, on Avenida de Los Pinos.
If you look, there are baskets that are three, I suppose it is to practice shooting, because I do not think you can play a game.
Another thing, colored roof area, is it really useful?

Carthaginians And Romans. Cartagineses Y Romanos.
During the second half of September in Cartagena is the feast of Carthaginians and Romans.
Cartagena was founded about the year 227 B. C. by Carthaginian general Hasdrubal. The Carthaginian presence in it would be fleeting because in 209 B.C., during the Second Punic War was conquered by the Roman Scipio.
This latter is what is commemorated during the festival of Carthaginians and Romans. Here you can view some videos.
The picture is really bad, I took from a local newspaper.

Rental Bikes
In March I published a similar picture, but the bicycle parking was unfinished. Now it already has all its colours, although the image is in another part of Murcia, Avenida de Los Pinos.
This rental system has been so successful, and there are no bicycles for all the requests (and some that has been stolen).

Library Of The Region Of Murcia
Main facade of the Regional Library.
In these last days of September, the library is not widely used. Usually, at exam time, there are queues early in the morning or evening by students who want to take a place to study.
In this library you can borrow books, music, movies.
There is a children's area, which is fine for children.
The library is located in Avenida Juan Carlos I, number 17. There are tram and bus stops.

Artillery Playground
In the old artillery barracks, is this playground. In the picture there is no child (I took the photo at the right time), but usually this is a playground full of kids.
I've been reading that this type of playground can also be called TOT LOT. I do not know which is more correct to use for the image.

Antaño is one of the most famous libraries in Murcia. It is a library of those of yesteryear (antaño) . If you want a book and not have it in the store, they seek, and before long, they find it.
Children's books, books in foreign languages, text books, teaching books ... And now, also, E-books.
It's located in Calle Puerta Nueva, 8.

Dolphinarium At The Oceanogràfic Of Valencia
Continuing with the topic of yesterday. The Oceanografic addition to their buildings, I would also like to highlight their dolphin show. Not only to see these cetaceans doing stunts, but previously, gives a briefing about the varieties of dolphins, how their natural habitat , how they live, how they hunt, ... and consciousness that wildlife should be protected.

Oceanographic Buildings
A few days ago I made a getaway with the family to visit in Valencia (about 200 km from Murcia) the Oceanogràfic (within the complex City of Arts and Sciences).
Although this is the largest aquarium in Europe where you can see marine species around the world and all types of ecosystems, in this picture I wanted to highlight the peculiar buildings that can be seen.
Today in Murcia, is a holiday. Every second Tuesday of September will be the pilgrimage to La Fuensanta

Heat = More Beach
After a week of clouds and rain, this week, temperatures rise again and you can still enjoy the beach.
Coastline in Torre de la Horadada. At the background left Grosa Island
This picture is just an excuse to talk about Grosa Island. This volcanic island, was a refuge for pirates. Until 2000, was a military zone where special units of combat divers and bomb disposal Dive Centre of the Navy trained. Today is a protected area for marine depths and the many birds that inhabit it.
