Warm Up 2019. Secret Shows.

Now starts a week plenty of music, films and fashion: Warm Up 2019. Although the biggest days will be on Friday and Saturday (May 3rd and 4th) with the Warm Up Music Festival.
For starting, and under invitation (door prize), some secret shows without knowing who are going to play.

Spring Festival 2019 Ending

The Spring Festival week is one of the most recommended periods of the year to visit Murcia. Guaranteed fun.

Also, today is the voting day for electing the prime minister of Spain.

Burial of Sardine 2019

Easter Week 2019

The balconies of the city of Murcia are filled with banners of the different brotherhoods of Easter Week.

Faculty of Education

The Faculty of Education was created in 1992. It was the result of the integration of the Teaching School and the Pedagogy Section that belonged to the Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences. Teacher studies have a long tradition in Murcia. The first Teachers' School (for men) was inaugurated in 1844 and years later, in 1860, the School of Teachers for woman was started.

The Faculty of Economics and Business (University of Murcia) has its origins in the old Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences, founded in 1981. It was located at city of Murcia until 1999 when it was moved to the Campus of Espinardo (image).

150th Anniversary of Periodic Table of Chemical Elements. Faculty of Chemistry. University of Murcia.

This year we are conmemorating the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements (1869 is considered as the year of discovery of the Periodic System by the Russian scientist, Dmitri Mendeleev).
At Faculty of Chemistry of University of Murcia, they have built the biggest Periodic Table of Europe?.

Old Muslim Wall

Ten yers ago I showed you that wall by day (click here to visit that post).
A big wall surrounded the old Murcia, but now, just a few pieces of this wall you can visit around the city. Free. This piece is located between Veronicas Church and Almudi Palace.
That wall was built on XII century.
