The Moon and the Cathedral
The Moon stops to look at the bell-tower (1793) of Cathedral of Murcia (1394-1465), while the Old Bridge (completed on 1742) is the union between them.

Carlos III
This photo is taken from the exhibition "Floridablanca, the shadow of the king". The king to whom the exhibition refers is Carlos III (in the image, equestrian statue of Carlos III).
Carlos III (Charles III) of Spain, called "the Politician" or "the Better Mayor of Madrid" (Madrid, 20 of January of 1716, Madrid, 14 of December of 1788), was Duke of Parma and Plasencia between 1731 and 1735, king of Naples and King of Sicily from 1734 to 1759 and from Spain from 1759 until his death in 1788.

Floridablanca: The Shadow of the King.
At Almudi Palace and Hall of Veronicas, you have a great opportunity to know more about Count of Floridablanca (great Murcia politician) who was Ambassador and Minister of King Charles III (Carlos III). An enriching exhibition for the knowledge where to know the influence of this politician on the court of Carlos III.
Since January 29th to April 28th 2019.
"José Moñino y Redondo (Murcia, 1728 - Seville, 1808), first Count of Floridablanca, lived in a convulsive period that was debated between the staunch conservatives of the institutions and the revolutionaries. For half a century, Moñino, a faithful interpreter of Carlos III's ideas, took an active part in politics and was Secretary of State between 1777 and 1792. After his dismissal and a period in prison, he presided over the Central Supreme Junta in 1808.
From Goya to Tiepolo and Mengs: Works from the Prado Museum, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, the National Archaeological Museum or the National Library, as well as others belonging to some of the most important private collections in Spain, will be exhibited in almost 1,800 square meters of this exhibition "will occupy two of the cultural spaces of reference in our Region: the Almudí Palace, created in the 15th century, and the Sala Verónicas, an old baroque church converted into a unique exhibition space"" (Source: Murciaturistica.es)

Live Rock Concerts
More and more concerts at Region of Murcia. Only on March, they are programmed 111 live concerts on private concert halls. Great!
But nowadays, new music bands have no impact. Only old bands or tribute bands (image, Metallica tribute band at Garage Beat Club) manage to fill concert halls. :(
