Ending a Millenary Year. Murcia 1200.

 2025 has been the year where the foundation of the City of Murcia turned 1200.

In the middle of the Glorieta de España, close to Town Hall, that cauldron was lit at the beginning of the year for this conmemoration. Thousands of activities were performed (exhibitions, congress, fireworks, mapping projections on different builldings, ...).

Although it was conmemorated 1200 years, there are reminds from Roman, Iberian or Argaric periods surrounding the city (close to mountains and hills). It seems that there were settlements from 3000 years ago.
