The anticipation on the sidewalks suddenly blossoms. When the silhouette of the Virgin of La Fuensanta appears amidst the crowd, the nervous excitement transforms into a collective emotion that sends shivers down your spine. Murcia turns out in full force to welcome its Patron Saint.

To commemorate the centenary of the Canonical Coronation of the Virgin of La Fuensanta (in April 2027), daily pilgrimages are being made to each of the villages in the municipality of Murcia (April to June 2026), with the image spending the night in the church of each village.
