The Vinader Palace and the Jabonerías Viewpoint in Plaza Romea.
Julián Romea Square brings together two centuries of Murcian architecture within just a few meters. To the left stands the Vinader Palace, built in the 18th century. Its reddish Baroque-style façade is notable for the symmetry of its balconies and the large coat of arms above the main entrance.
To the right, marking the entrance to the commercial street "Calle Jabonerías" (soap-making workshop street), stands an exposed-brick building featuring a distinctive curved wooden corner oriel window.
Calle Jabonerías takes its name from the old workshops and shops of the artisans' guild that manufactured and sold soap in the area during the medieval and early modern periods.
