Last weekend we just finished, we had a spring weather in the Region of Murcia, in Murcia City have grown to 24 degrees celsius. The temperature was ideal for going to the beach or to go to the mountain. In my case I chose the second option, to make a bit of hiking, and enjoying a picnic on the green lung of the city: El Valle.
Here you can watch a visit of El Valle and Carrascoy: enjoy it!

Casa El Cherro

Casa El Cherro is a good place to taste traditional Murcian food. The most recommendable: its meats. Casa El Cherro was established in 1930, and has also a butchery, to buy the same meat that they cook.
It is located at Av. Miguel de Cervantes, Murcia.

High Voltage Birds

Every time I see many birds resting on high voltage wires, I remember a short film by Pixar.
There is a Spanish proverb that says, when the crow flies low, makes a cold from hell (in Spanish, rhyme: "Cuando el grajo vuela bajo, hace un frio del carajo"). What a cold!

Statue Stolen?

Visiting the Northwest of Region of Murcia, you can reach Cehegín town. This is one of the roundabouts access from the northwest highway.
The title of the work is "Weavers of Light" ("Tejedores de luz") by Nicolás de Maya artists. The truth is that the title I don't understand, nor understand why there is a man foot and a woman foot. But I like the colossal size of the work.

Footprints In The Snow

With the wave of cold, snow has fallen in the north (and northwest) of the Region of Murcia. But as we had two sunny days, It has been hard to find snow, so I went to the nearby Granada (Andalusia), about an hour and a half from the city of Murcia (to the northwest). I found a little, although there were three degrees below zero Celsius.
About the photo: some snow nearly of La Puebla de Don Fadrique.
