Brico Centre

What began as a small hardware store, now there are four centers of DIY in the Region of Murcia.
Brico Centro Fermin is the Murcian version of Leroy Merlin. It can find everything you need to be a handyman.
A few days ago, I bought some articles in Leroy Merlin, but I bought less than necessary, so I stopped by Brico Centro Fermin, to buy more, and I was pleasantly surprised: it was cheaper. What I had to buy was 0.40Euro cheaper, and as I had to buy 10 items, 4Euro saved me from the French DIY center.

Alone On The Beach

We have some very unpleasant days in the Region of Murcia.
On the beach, this bird (I do not know its name), came out with much effort from the sea. In the sand, I saw that it could scarcely walk, yet returned to the sea and left.

Easter 2010. Holy Friday. Procession of "Salzillos"

Today, about 1,700 people have marched in the procession of "Salzillos". This procession is so named because all the sculptures in parade were made by Francisco Salzillo (except Our Lord Jesus Nazarene).
As you can see, all the Nazarenes have a prominent belly. It is no obesity problems, but because within their habit carry hundreds of candy, sweets, boiled eggs, etc., that are giving to the spectators. I encourage you to come one year to the Murcia processions, not only because you can see some beautiful sculptures, but also you can take you for lunch, or dinner at home. ;)
More about this procession and to see the photos that I made last year in Easter Week Label.
