Taking advantage of my visit to Alicante, I could see in its port a replica of Santísima Trinidad (Holy Trinity) ship (1769 - 1805). I will tell more in following days.

Who Plays The World Game?
These cardboard and wood sculptures are part of a "Hoguera" ("Fogueres", "Bonfire"), which shows a review about events that have occurred in the last year (then it will burn on St. John's night). The image says it all (from "Hoguera Hernán Cortés").
The place, Alicante (about 80km from Murcia), one of the most traditional places where celebrating the Night of St. John (St. John's Day or Midsummer).
In 2009, already spoke of Obama, as a chess player.

Hidden Beautiful Natural Places
Getting to the natural landscape Salto del Usero (Usero's Waterfall) is not easy, not for its accessibility, but the lack of indications. From the village of Bullas to the Camping La Rafa, 2 Km.
A place you have to continue to protect, and still not massify.

The Creation Started Here
This is one of those hidden beautiful places at Region of Murcia, as the Strait of La Arboleja.
This is called Salto del Usero (Usero's Waterfall). The Mula river, passing by Bullas, in a karst landscape, has pierced rock, creating this beautiful grotto. Water: cold.

What A Shock!
On Wednesday, back home from work, I saw a column of smoke in the distance. Arriving to smoke, I found a truck was on fire. In the image, on the left, you see the silhouette of two people, the truck driver and passenger unharmed.
That created a traffic jam of more than two kilometers on the highway Murcia - Cartagena.

It's been six years since I started this project. And every day I find it harder to stick with it due to lack of time it require, but thanks to your visits and your comments, MurciaDailyPhoto continue showing pictures of the Region of Murcia.
Thank you all.
Here you have a link to the 5th anniversary (to see if I could get to the tenth as Eric Tenin (from Paris Daily Photo).

New Island Formed.
The Segura River is a very calm river in the middle course, and it takes many sediments wich is deposited. Although last weekend has rained a few, many months ago has not rained a drop.
But the formation of this island has nothing to do with what happened in Japan, where it has emerged a new island because of a volcano. Here, great photos.
