The installation of a public aquarium sponsored by the University of Murcia involves bringing maximum teaching and research institution in the Region of Murcia to the general public, showing certain facets of the research developed by the team of biologists from the Aquarium.
In other countries, there is the concept of public aquarium directly related to the University, but in Spain the Aquarium of the University of Murcia is the first example of this relationship, and is an outstanding complement to the cultural and entertainment in the Region of Murcia.

Summer Ending
Traditionally today should be the last day of summer, but the astronomical autumn season for 2014 will start on Tuesday 23rd September at 4h 29m Spanish official time (GMT+2). This season will take 89 days and 20 hours, and end on December 22nd with the beginning of winter.
The beaches begin to be deserted. Perhaps the best time to be on vacation.
