Well here is the only picture I could get the first snows have fallen in Murcia. The photo is from yesterday (about 14:00) from my work. As was a sunny day in the afternoon there was not snow on that mountain. Elsewhere in the Region of Murcia snowed enough. As an anecdote: even if people think that Murcia has an almost tropical climate, it also snows. There is even a Murcian ski federation. In fact, the federation has had an Olympic champion in Olympic winter games in Salt Lake City in 2002 (Johann Mühlegg). A name is nothing Murcian. This is a German who became a naturalized Spanish in 1999 and earned two gold medals (though later removed by the doping).
Following the tide of community CityDailyPhoto, I proposed to leave in this blog photos of Murcia, as a way to show to the world what a jewel of city and province we have. Thanks to the creator of ParisDailyPhoto for his great idea to show the city of oneself from another angle.
