Salvamento Marítimo Clara Campoamor

This is the multipurpose maritime rescue vessel that is based in Cartagena.
The rescue ship Clara Campoamor (BS-32) is a multi-purpose tug height of the Maritime Security and Rescue Society. It was launched at the shipyard of Zamakona in Santurce (Vizcaya) on April 10, 2007 and has been active since that year. It was named in memory of Clara Campoamor Rodriquez, a policy advocate for the rights of women and main promoter of universal suffrage in Spain.

Its versatility is based on three main aspects:

In the rescue of persons.
In the fight against marine pollution, as it has capacity to collect waste in the sea.
The assistance and towing ships and other maritime operations.
