Monumental Sculptures. "Meninas".

Throughout this week I will publish several photos of an exhibition of monumental sculptures, by the artist Manolo Valdés. (wiki in spanish)
The exhibition, which is on the streets, organized by La Caixa Foundation. It is exposed on the Avenue Alfonso X "El Sabio" (The Sage) and the Santo Domingo's square.
In the photo you can see the play called Meninas. Tribute to the painting "Las Meninas" by Velázquez. These Meninas are at the beginning of the street Trapería.
"The artist uses solder as an expressive, while stressing the cracks of the book, to emphasize its aristocratic side. The exhibition presents Fundación "la Caixa" consists of 15 monumental sculptures, most created for this project, through which the artist exhibited a large group of spectacular huge head, with the idea of converting the genre of portraiture corporizar.
