Echoes Of Xmas 2010. Christmas Desserts: Cordiales.

One of the characteristics of Christmas, is the great variety of Christmas cakes.
Wine threads, orange cake, marzipan, lardy, polvorones, nougat. But the one I like, and I recommend the most are Cordiales (literally: the Kind)
Perhaps because one of my grandmothers used to make when I was a child. Is a typical Christmas cake from Spanish east, and hence of Murcia. Its main ingredients are almonds and pumpkin.
