Hare Hunted

What's the origin of name Spain for our country? Well, the origin it seems that comes from phoenicians that arrived at Iberian Peninsula on 1100 bC (BCE), and they named that place: "I-Spin-Ya" (meaning land of rabbits). During Roman period, they named: "Hispania". That name, due to the sound that it was said, turned to España (Spagna in Italian, Espanha in Portuguese, or Espagne in French).

About picture. When you go outskirts of cities for a walk, it is easy to see rabbits or hares running out (early in the morning).
