The Moon and The Cathedral. Murcia Turns 1200 Years.

 I would like to use that full Moon and Cathedral Bell Tower (I invite you to visit that label for "climbing") for introducing the anniversary on the foundation of City of Murcia (June, 825).

Although there are Argaric* remains and also, Roman* remains, this year Murcia is going to held its foundation by Abderraman II. So, during current year I will post many pictures about this conmemoration.

The writing date on founding act of the city of Murcia was Sunday, Rabbi I 4, 210 AH, that is, Sunday, June 25, 825.

The Cathedral of Murcia was built between 1394 and 1465.

*Argaric remains: There are Argaric settlements from 2000 BC.

*Roman remains: some remains between I and III century.

- The territory of Murcia was also part of the Visigoth prince, Teodomir.
