God Mercury

In the same place as yesterday, we can find the statue of the god Mercury, the god of commerce.

It was donated by the Chamber of Commerce in February 2007 and its author is Antonio Campillo (Murcian sculptor these days is an exhibition at the Palace Almudí).

While there is a little strange pagan god with a Catholic church.

But I must say that from this perspective you can not see that Mercury is between the church and the building of the Chamber of Commerce.

As for the sculpture, saying that was made in 1966, and since 1975 it was in the building of the Chamber of Commerce.
