Cardinal Belluga Square

Image of the Cardinal Belluga Square, from the Cathedral.
On the left, Episcopal Palace. In the background, Moneo building.
Most of the Murcian we get annoyed when the council of Murcia decided that this building was built. That building was built in 1998.
Break all the aesthetics of the square, where there are two important monument-buildings.
In this building are part of the offices of the municipality.

People with political power always want to impose their will and insist on putting a building where THEY want it, even if it's out of character with the street and surrounding buildings. I saw this in Mazarrón and in Aguilas where new Ayuntamiento offices were made of mirror glass and totally wrong for the places around them. I actually like modern buildings - but in the right location!
