Glorieta Juan Carlos I

Located at town of Mula (on the way to northwest from Murcia), that is a park - roundabout that was finished restored on 2023 by ESC estudio with Mula city council funds.

Glorieta del Paso or Glorieta Juan Carlos I was restored to return the aesthetics of the original architect's design (Juan Huéscar Egea, in 1929).

"The recovery of this public space has involved the recovery of the tree pits, the tiled benches, the original street lamps and the design of the four fountains with low pools. Along these lines, the original layout of the central flower beds, which were modified in the works carried out in 1975, and the decorative tile covering have been recovered. Likewise, stabilized albero has been included for the interior pavement, the level of the garden has been lowered until it is equal to Paseo Street and the vegetation has been redesigned, conserving species such as bougainvillea and specimens of Cartagena juniper, with the aim of forming a garden full of contrasts that gives more life to the place."(Source: Mula City Council)
