Watching Life Go By

At Alfonso X avenue, and archaeological museun on back.

The origin of Alfonso X avenue lies in the inauguration, at the beginning of the 1930s, of different infrastructures in the north of the city, in a space that was then still a peri-urban garden/orchard.

The works began in 1936, finishing in 1940 (as a reminder, Spain experienced a civil war between 1936 and 1939).
