Murcia celebrates its 1200th anniversary. The city paid tribute to its history with a stunning video mapping projection on the facade of the Moneo Building, where light, image, and sound brought viewers back to the founding of Madina Mursiya.

In 2025, the twelve months of the year serve as a narrative thread through twelve centuries of history, encouraging locals and visitors alike to return to Murcia to learn more. The year 2025 has been divided into four stages:

1. The Origin of Madina Mursiya (January, February, March)

2. The Roots of the Three Cultures (April, May, June)

3. The Splendor of Murcia (July, August, September)
