Detail Of Another Artillery Barracks Building.

Throughout the old artillery barracks there are allusions to the Alhambra in Granada, and the Arabic influence in Spain.

Dear Murcia Daily Photo

I am writing a feature for Yeah Baby! Magazine, an in flight magazine for the airline bmi baby with a circulation of around 750,000.
I am doing a series of city guides and am looking someone in the Murcia area who could give me some insider tips of what to see and do in the area. The theme this month is MUSICIANS and it would be a great help to me if you could give me THREE UNUSUAL things to see or do in Murcia. It doesn't matter if your not a full time musician, even if you play an instrument for fun you can still help me! I thought because your a photographer, there might be some musicians? But it honestly doesn't matter if not, you can still help me!
I would really like some really unusual ideas, something that you will not find in a tourist guide - We want it to be tips from a real Murcia resident. However the tips don't have to solely be about music, in fact its best if the three things are all slightly different so there's something for everyone!
Please email me with three places which are good to go in and around Murcia, tell me what they are, what you do there and what makes it special. It could be a pub, a club, a shop, a park, a music venue, a cafe or anything else you could possibly think of, but the more unusual the better.

Could you also give me your name, if you play an instrument, your job and if you wish to receive the magazine, your address! We will be happy to include your website link in the magazine if you have one.

I You would be really helping me out by doing this, I'm on a deadline so the quicker the better! We will of course send you a copy of the publication when it is finished.

Thank you so much

Like the Alhambra, the artillery barracks is beautiful. It must be unusual for a barracks to be decorated in this way.
