Invasion.

With the rains of the past month, and the sun in recent days, in areas of the orchard (huerta) of Murcia, there is an invasion of snails. (Click on image to see details of the traffic light is full of snails).
Although this is also used in Murcia, and a variety of snails (Serranas) is used in several dishes of Murcia, such as rice with rabbit and snails (
a variety of paella, delicious), or snails in sauce. The procedure for preparing these dishes I will explain another day.

I have never seen so many snails in one place, I do not like snails (creepy) so I find this photo horrific. Sorry.
