Geometries of Time
The old and the new Town hall buildings. Minimalism embraces history.
This image captures the very essence of urban evolution. On the left, the warmth of traditional architecture envelops the frame with its ochre tones and classic details; on the right, architect Rafael Moneo's audacity is manifested in a stone grid that seems to play with light and void.
The smooth, organic finish of the old building contrasts with the mathematical, contemporary rigidity of the new City Hall. It is a visual reminder that cities are living organisms where past and future coexist in a surprisingly harmonious balance.
