Rock, Blues, Reggae and Flamenco: Raimundo Amador in the Three Cultures Festival 2026
The Three Cultures Festival, a celebration of gastronomy, heritage, and live music, takes place throughout May.
This festival commemorates the period during which Jews, Muslims, and Christians coexisted in Murcia during the Middle Ages, under the reign of King Alfonso X "The Wise."
In the image, the great guitarist Raimundo Amador (who has played with legends such as B.B. King, Howe Gelb, Björk, and Camarón de la Isla) unleashed a roar of his guitar strings, accompanied by an impeccable band and a backing vocalist who elevated the live performance by fusing North American rhythms, Caribbean beats, and Andalusian roots. An indomitable artist, he embodies like no other the spirit of encounter, tolerance, and fusion that defines this musical series.
Using the Cathedral of Murcia's baroque facade as a backdrop, in a packed Cardinal Belluga Square, Raimundo gave a masterclass in virtuosity, connecting with the audience and radiating a festive spirit. He had to extend the concert due to the wonderful atmosphere and his connection with the crowd. A truly outstanding performance.
