 Today I bring you a visual challenge from the shore. In this shot, the sky and the land vie for your attention.

The linear structures of the pontoons and walkways over the water create a tranquil geometry that dominates the lower half of the image. But if you look up to the upper right corner, you'll find the real action: a formation of six planes flying at a perfect diagonal.

It's fascinating how the noise and speed of the engines in the sky coexist with the absolute stillness of the wooden structures on the sea.
