Praetorian Guard


The way that nutcracker guards have been located gives a manificent to the Cardinal Belluga* sculpture. 

Lights and darkness have helped to obtain that atmosphere on picture. Located at Glorieta de España.

*Cardinal Belluga: Motril (Granada), 11-30.1662 – Rome (Italy), 02-22.1743. Bishop of Cartagena, Cardinal in the Roman Curia, treatise writer and philanthropist. Belluga distinguished as an organizer of troops and defender of King Philip V and the Bourbon cause, for which he held various important positions, such as viceroy of Valencia or captain general of Murcia, which he soon resigned from.
