The Plaza Circular (Circular Square), also known as La Redonda, it is a roundabout and it is one of the main squares in the city of Murcia.

The construction of the Plaza Circular originated in the 1926 Cort Plan, which envisioned an urban expansion in the north of the city of Murcia. However, this expansion was not carried out until the 1930s.

Between 1964 and 1965, plans were drawn up to build a large illuminated fountain and remodel the entire square. This included landscaping flowerbeds with grass and planting shade trees. The first children's playground in the area was also installed. Finally, it was inaugurated on April 14, 1970, by the Minister of the Interior (during the dictatorship of General Franco).

Between 2006 and 2007, the fountain was completely renovated and repaired. It underwent further renovations in 2011 and between 2020 and 2021. It has been a venue for celebrations during festivities and for football team grand victories.
