Architecture and Geotourism: The Cueva del Puerto Visitor Reception Centre

Contemporary architecture integrates into the natural surroundings of Calasparra through the Cueva del Puerto (Puerto Cave) Visitor Reception Centre.

The building houses a ticket area, exhibition rooms, and visitor service spaces. From its expansive terrace and large windows, one can take in a panoramic view of the valley, set against the backdrop of the Sierra del Puerto (mountain ranges of El Puerto).

This is going to be an awesome trip through 15 millions years.

El Puerto means "mountain pass"
