The Burial of Sardine. 175 Years Burning in a Moment.

 Today we had the opportunity to attend the presentation of the Burial of the Sardine parade for its 175th anniversary. This parade will be an exact recreation of what happened in 1919 (from a newspaper on that time): the route, the floats, the burning of the sardine. It will take place on March 7th, 2026. It will be a very special Burial of the Sardine.

However, the Burial of the Sardine (Entierro de la Sardina), which takes place every year on the first Saturday after Easter, will continue. This year, it will be on April 11th, 2026.

The presentation took at Belluga Square, close to Cathedral of Murcia and Bishop Palace (Episcopal Palace).
