You won't believe what's hidden behind the walls of the FFRM

Sometimes, football isn't on the pitch, but in the offices where each matchday is dreamed up. This is the headquarters of the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia, in black and white, stripped of team colors and rivalries. Its circular windows seem to gaze upon the future of Murcian football.

Although the building is modern (2004), the institution is historic. The Federation was officially established in September 1924 at an assembly held in the Teatro Circo Villar in Murcia.

Its first steps weren't taken here; its first official headquarters were on current Trapería Street.

Since those founding clubs of 1924, the Federation has grown from managing a handful of teams to overseeing thousands of members throughout the Region, encompassing everything from youth football to futsal and the regional team.
