A Little Guardian in the Lavender

Sometimes you have to look at small details in life. 

This image draws us into the Mediterranean vegetation to discover a small, perfectly camouflaged predator: a praying mantis blending in with the dense, grayish-green foliage of a lavender bush. Its posture and the positioning of its legs seem to perfectly mimic the plant's small, dry stems.
