Vestiges of the Past Remain Present.

There are certain towns where traces of the recent past still linger.

That hand-painted "Cerveza San Miguel Especial" sign (San Miguel Special Beer), emblazoned on the plastered facade, is an authentic example of mid-20th-century commercial advertising graphics.

Located on the corner of Calle de los Ganaderos (livestock farmers street) in Fuente Álamo, the sign retains the brand's characteristic Gothic typeface, recalling the days of a former bar, grocery store, or warehouse that served as a gathering place in the town's daily life.

These examples of popular advertising graphics from the second half of the 20th century not only evoke nostalgia for the shops and bars of yesteryear but also represent a valuable graphic heritage of everyday life in our towns.
