Celebrating Region of Murcia Day from Cape Palos

Every June 9th, the people of the Region of Murcia celebrate the creation of the Autonomous Community in 1982, making it a public holiday. This is a land that embraces the orchards, the countryside, the mountains, and the sea. To commemorate this day, what better place than the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, with this lighthouse illuminating the way: the Cabo de Palos Lighthouse.

Inaugurated in 1865, the Cabo de Palos Lighthouse has served as a guide for sailors and fishermen for generations.

With this image, I seek a metaphor, representing that firm and constant light that defines the open, hospitable, and resilient character of the Region of Murcia. It must also be said that the food in the area is wonderful.
