Huerto San Basilio

 Passing through the Malecón gateway, we arrive at the Fair's gastronomic heart: the spots run by the various 'huerta' (vegetable patch) associations belonging to the Federación de Peñas Huertanas.

Huerto San Basilio is one such example, ready for dinner service.

Each association recreates a slice of traditional life from the Murcian huerta on its own plot. Members, dressed in period costumes, wait on tables and serve the most authentic huerta dishes, prepared using traditional recipes.
