Welcome to Feria de Murcia 2026

 In recent years, the tradition of erecting a floral arch over the Old Bridge (Puente Viejo or Puente de los Peligros / Perils Bridge) has been revived.

Every September, the entrance to the historic center via the Old Bridge is adorned with this monumental archway made of greenery, topped by the city's coat of arms and flags. Its origins lie in the tradition of ephemeral festive architecture from the 19th and 20th centuries, designed to welcome visitors arriving from the El Carmen neighborhood for the trade and livestock fair.
