Horizon Views: Accessibility and Retro Charm at Carrión Beach in Los Alcázares

Along the seafront Carrión promenade, Carrión Beach offers a beautiful view of Los Alcázares coastline, where accessibility, traditional design, and the natural beauty of the Mar Menor come together perfectly.

It features an adapted swimming area equipped with wooden shading to ensure comfort for individuals with reduced mobility or specific accessibility needs. The changing room and lifeguard station, with its blue-and-white stripes and red-tiled roof, evokes the nostalgic style of traditional beach huts.

The panoramic view offers a clear look at the silhouettes of some of the Mar Menor’s volcanic islands: Perdiguera Island (on the right) and Barón Island (on the center).

For your information, from Murcia city to the beach, just 45 minutes long.
